WHO WE ARE
Deer Trail Rural Fire Protection District is a fully volunteer department serving the town of Deer Trail and the surrounding rural area. We provide fire suppression for both structural and wild-land fires as well as basic ambulance service.

The Deer Trail Fire Protection District is always in need of volunteers. If you would like to serve the community, help save property and lives come and join us. You can contact us by phone or come to the fire station on Monday nights at 7:00 when we are doing training.

DEER TRAIL RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly to the electors of the Deer Trail Rural Fire Protection District of Adams, Arapahoe and Elbert Counties, Colorado.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular election will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7: p.m. At that time, tree (2) directors will be elected to serve a four-year term and one (1) director will be elected to serve a two-year term.
Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms are available from the Designated Election Official at c/o Collins Cole Flynn Winn & Ulmer, PLLC, 165 S. Union Blvd., Suit 785, Lakewood, Colorado, 80228; email: prupp@cogovlaw.com. Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms must be filed with the Designated Election Official for the District at the above email address not less than 67 days prior to the election (Friday, February 24, 2023).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that applications for absentee ballots may be filed with the Designated Election Official of the District at the above address during normal business hours, until the close of business on the Tuesday immediately preceding the election (Tuesday, April 25, 2023). All absentee ballots must be returned to the Designated Election Official by 7:00 pm. on election day.

CONVOCATORIA DE NOMINACIONES PARA
DISTRITO DE PROTECCIÓN CONTRA INCENDIOS RURAL DEER TRAIL
A QUIEN CORRESPONDA, y en particular a los electores del Distrito de Protección contra Incendios Rurales Deer Trail de los condados de Adams, Arapahoe y Elbert, Colorado.
POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que se llevará a cabo una elección ordinaria el martes 2 de mayo de 2023, entre las 7:00 a. m. y las 7:00 p. m. En ese momento, se elegirán tres (2) directores por un período de cuatro años y un (1) director por un período de dos años.
Los formularios de autonominación y aceptación están disponibles a través del funcionario electoral designado en c/o Collins Cole Flynn Winn & Ulmer, PLLC, 165 S. Union Blvd., Suite 785, Lakewood, Colorado, 80228; correo electrónico: prupp@cogovlaw.com. Los formularios de autonominación y aceptación deben presentarse ante el funcionario electoral designado paral distrito en la dirección de correo electrónico anterior al menos 67 días antes de la elección (viernes 24 de febrero de 2023).
SE NOTIFICA ADEMÁS que las solicitudes de boletas de voto en ausencia se pueden presentar ante el Funcionario Electoral Designado del Distrito en la dirección anterior durante el horario comercial normal, hasta el cierre de operaciones del martes inmediatamente anterior a la elección (martes 25 de abril de 2023).
